The Islamic Movement in Nigeria has alleged that its leader, Ibraheem El-Zakzaky was being treated like a criminal in India where he has gone for medical treatment.
The group in a statement claimed that El-Zakzaky, who was accompanied by his wife ,Zeenat to Medenta Hospital in New Delhi on Monday, was incarcerated and given no liberties.
The Chairman, Free El-Zakzaky Committee, Abubakar Abdurahman, on Wednesday, also making it clear that the IMN leader may be brought back to Nigeria.
He said, the group is already holding discussions about the plan. to bring him back to Nigeria if the condition in the hospital does not improve, adding that since he arrived at the hospital, he has been caged him like a criminal.
