Thirteen persons have been rescued and two still missing in a boat mishap that left three persons dead.
The mishap occurred two passenger speedboats had a headon collision within Ojo Creek at Ojo LCDA at about 6:10Pm as announced by Lagos State rescue agencies and the Local Community who were the first responders.
The Baale, Jagun of Ijanikin ,Chairman Ojo LCDA and a resident of Irewe Mr Nurudeen Oyefolu said the mishap was caused by overspeeding and recklessness on the part of the operators.
Further investigations is ongoing by the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency LASEMA and other Stakeholders.
Rescued Victims are currently receiving necessary medical attention.
