Femi Adesina has been re-appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari as his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, as well as Garba Shehu who returned as the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity.
Also, Laolu Akande has been re-appointed as Senior Special Assistant, Media and Publicity, in the office of the Vice President.
Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, relayed the approval of the President to the returning appointees.
These appointments take effect from May 29, 2019.
Other returning appointees in the President’s media team include: Tolu Ogunlesi, Special Assistant for Digital Media and a new entrant, Buhari Salihu, Special Assistant for Online Media.
The returning appointees may be sworn in on Wednesday just before the Ministers take their oath of office to commence Buhari’s 2nd term administration.
Meanwhile, the 2 day retreat for all appointed ministers which started on Monday at the Banquet Hall of the State House Abuja, will end today.
