A 54-year-old widow and mother of six has been arrested by the Airport Command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency NDLEA.

Sulaimon Kudirat Adunni from Abeokuta, Ogun State was arrested for ingesting 60 wraps of heroin.
The NDLEA Airport Commander MMIA, Garba Ahmadu informed reporters that she had excreted 28 wraps out the 60 she ingested, though difficultly.
Ahmadu noted that she reacted just a day after the arrest resulting to complications, caused by irritation and stomach discomfort.
She coughed recurrently and was able to vomit two wraps before fainting in the process.
“She was promptly rushed to the Lagos State University Teaching hospital LASUTH. The suspect was examined by a team of medical specialists, ultrasound scan performed and CT scan was later recommended, which was immediately carried out on the suspect”. He said.
Her stability has been certified by the NDLEA Airport Commander and she’s been kept in custody for possible excretion of the remaining 32 wraps and further investigation to uncover possible associates linked to the case.
Also arrested was Obinna Hyacinth who ingested 93 wraps and excreted all after arrest.
“In the process of excretion, the suspect made the first excretion of 35 wraps of suspected hard drugs and it was observed that one of the wraps excreted was almost unwrapped”.
He said ”the management promptly referred the suspect for medical attention at LASUTH. The suspect was observed at the hospital by a team of medical specialist and later administered some medications”.
“Subsequently, he excreted a total of 93 wraps of suspected hard drugs with a total weight of 1.620kg”.
The 45 year old Hyacinth from Nnewi, Anambra state said he got into the illicit business because someone stole his six million naira.
The widow said this was her first attempt and confessed that she was promised a million naira if she could deliver the substance to one Mukaila in London, introduced to her by a friend.
