Nigeria has recorded its highest single day cases of the novel Covid-19, with 745 new confirmed cases bringing the total number to 18,480 as at Thursday 18th June, 2020.
The Nigeria Centre For Disease Control , NCDC via its official twitter page stating that Lagos state tops the chat with 280 cases followed by Oyo with103 new cases.
Other states reported with new infections include Ebonyi- 72, the FCT-60 , Imo-46, Edo- 34 , Delta -33 ,Rivers -25, Kaduna-23, Ondo-16, Katsina-12 ,Kano-10, Bauchi-8, Borno-7, Kwara-5, Gombe-4, Sokoto and Enugu recorded 2 cases each, while Yobe, Osun and Nasarawa recorded 1 case each.
The latest breakdown brings overall confirmed cases in Nigeria to 18,480 with 6,307 recoveries and 475 fatalities.
