Six hundred and sixty seven new covid-19 cases were confirmed in Nigeria on Friday, 19th June 2020.
The Nigeria Centre For Disease Control , NCDC made this known through its official twitter page that 281 cases were recorded in Lagos ,48 cases in Abia state, Oyo-45, FCT-38, Ogun-37, Enugu-31, Ondo-23, Plateau- 21 and Edo 19 cases.
Other states reported with new infections include Delta and Rivers recording 18 cases each, Bayelsa and Akwa Ibom 17 cases each, Kaduna- 14 , Kano -12 , Bauchi- 9, Gombe -4, Osun , Benue, Kwara and Nasarawa 3 cases each , Ekiti-2 and Borno had 1 case.
The latest breakdown brings overall confirmed cases in Nigeria to 19,147 with 6,581 recoveries and 487 deaths.
