
The Lagos state government on Sunday discharged 45 more Covid-19 patients from its isolation centres in the state bringing the total number of treated cases to 1,328.
The state Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, said that 45 patients which include 18 females and 27 males were discharged on Sunday.
Twenty were from Gbagada, 12 from the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), nine from Onikan, two from Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba and one each from Lekki and Agidingbi isolation centres.
He said the recent development validates the effort of frontline health workers in the state to conquer the Covid-19 pandemic.
