
Five Hundred and Ninety –Four new cases of Covid-19 were recorded in Nigeria on Thursday, 25th June 2020 bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 22, 614.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control NCDC made this known through in the coronavirus update via its twitter page .
It said Lagos maintains the highest number with 159 confirmed cases, Delta -106, Ondo- 44, FCT-34, Oyo and Kaduna recorded 33 cases each, Enugu- 28, Katsina- 25, Imo-22and Adamawa recorded 15 cases.
Other states include Ogun- 12, Osun-11, Abia- 8, Rivers- 6, Naarawa , Baushi and Niger recorded 5 cases each, Kebbi-4, Ekiti -3 while Plateau and Taraba recorded I case each.
As it stands,Nigeria has recorded 22, 614 covid-19 cases, 7, 822 have been discharged with 549 deaths.
Worldwide, over 9.7million cases have been reported, with more than 490,000 fatalities recorded and 5.2million discharged.
