
This was revealed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control NCDC via its twitter page .
According to the update, Lagos recorded 285 new cases , Rivers – 68, FCT- 60, Enugu – 56 , Delta – 47, Ebonyi- 42, Oyo- 41, Kaduna- 19 , Ogun- 18 , Ondo- 16, Imo- 12, Sokoto-11 and Borno recorded 9 cases.
Also reported were Nasarawa with 8 cases, Abia , Gombe and Kebbi recorded 5 cases each, Kano-4, Yobe and Ekiti had 3 cases each while Osun recorded 2 case.
The new record brings the total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Nigeria to 24,077 with 8625 recoveries and 558 deaths.
