
As Nigerians prepare for the Phase Two of the eased lockdown extended by four weeks effective from Tuesday, June 30, 2020 through Midnight of Monday, 27 July, 2020, the country recorded 566 new cases.
This was disclosed by NCDC through its official twitter handle, with Lagos recording highest number with 166 new cases, followed by Oyo-66, Delta-53, Ebonyi-43, Plateau-34, Ondo-32, FCT-26, Ogun-25, Edo-24 and Imo-15
Other states with new cases include Bayelsa-13, Benue-12, Gombe, Kano and Kaduna had 11 each, Osun-8, Nasarawa-7, Borno-5, Katsina-2, Anambra-2.
This bring the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 25,133, with 9,402 discharged and 573 deaths
