The governor of Delta State ,Ifeanyi Okowa and the first lady have contracted coronavirus disease.
Ifeanyi Okowa disclosed this on his social media page on Wednesday .
“My wife and I have tested positive for COVID-19. We are well and continuing with our isolation/medication. We thank you all for your continued prayers for us and our daughter.”
The governor’s daughter was also confirmed positive for the disease just a week ago after which the family went for 2 weeks of self-isolation
