The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC in an official tweet disclosed that 790 new COVID-19 infections were recorded on July 1st, 2020.
Delta state recorded 166 new cases, followed by Lagos-120, Enugu-66, FCT-65, Edo-60, Ogun-43, Kano-41, Kaduna-39
Other states with new infections were Ondo-33, Rivers-32, Bayelsa-29, Katsina-21, Imo-20, Kwara-18, Oyo-11, Abia-10, Benue-6, Gombe-4, Yobe, Bauchi, and Kebbi had 2 cases each.
The total number of people with Covid 19 disease in Nigeria is now 26,484, about 10,152 people have recovered with 603 deaths recorded.
