Six hundred and twenty-six new cases of COVID-19 infections have been confirmed in Nigeria. The National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) made the disclosure through its Twitter handle on Thursday 2nd of July 2020.
Lagos state has 193 new cases, followed by FCT-85, Oyo-41, Edo-38, Kwara-34, Abia-31, Ogun-29, Ondo-28, Rivers-26, Osun-21
Other states are Akwa Ibom-18, Delta-18, Enugu-15, Kaduna-13, Plateau-11, Borno-8, Bauchi-7, Adamawa-5, Gombe-4, Sokoto-1
Since the first case in February 2020, about 27,110 people have tested positive to Corona Virus in Nigeria, 10,801 have fully recovered with 616 fatalities.
