COVID-19: NIGERIA’S CASES SURPASS 29,000

The Nigeria Centre For Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 575 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infected persons in the country to 29,286

The health agency revealed this on Monday, July 6, via its official Twitter page.


It was reported that Lagos recorded the highest number of cases with 123 new infections.


Other states with new infections are FCT-100, Delta-58 ,Edo-52 ,Ogun-42, Katsina-24, Bayelsa-23, Rivers-22 ,Borno-19, Plateau-18, Ondo-18, Oyo-17, Kwara-15, Osun-13, Enugu-9, Nasarawa-7, Abia-6 ,Cross River-5, Kaduna-3, Ekiti-1.

The total number of confirmed cases is now 29,286 with 11,828 recoveries and 654 fatalities.
