COVID 19: NIGERIA’S COVID-19 CASES SURPASS 30,000


Nigeria has recorded 499 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, July 9th 2020.

The National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) via its official twitter handle says Lagos state has 157 cases, Edo-59, Ondo-56, Oyo-31, Akwa-Ibom-22, Borno-21, Plateau-19 Kaduna-18 and Katsina-18

Other states affected include: Bayelsa-17, FCT-17, Delta-14, Kano-11, Rivers-10, Enugu-8, Ogun-6, Kwara-4, Imo-3, Nasarawa-2, Osun-2, While Abia, Ekiti, Niger and Yobe 1 case each.


The total number of infections stand at 30,748, while 12,546 people have fully recovered with 689 fatalities.
