NDDC ACTING MD FAINTS DURING INTERROGATION.

The acting managing director of the Niger Delta Development Commission, Kemebradikumo Pondei , slumped on Monday during an interrogative session at the National Assembly .

Pondei passed out while he was being grilled by lawmakers on funds misappropriation under his watch.

The acting MD had undergone 45 minutes of interrogation before he collapsed.

He was rushed out of the venue of the hearing while Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Godswill Akpabio stayed behind.

The development led to a brief discussion about the next step to take. A move to have the session adjourned was shouted before the Deputy Chairman of the Committee called for a 30-minute recess.
