The number of Covid-19 confirmed cases in Nigeria has risen to 39,977 as announced by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
Four Hundred and thirty-eight new cases were reported by the agency on Saturday July 25, 2020 .
Lagos has the highest number with 123 new cases, Kaduna-50, Rivers-40, Edo-37, Adamawa-25, Oyo-20, Nasarawa- 16, Osun and Enugu recorded 15 cases each while the FCT recorded14 new cases.
Other states are, Ekiti and Ondo 13 new cases, Ebonyi-11, Katsina-10, Abia-9 ,Delta-8, Kwara -4, Ogun, Cross River, Kano and Bauchi recorded 3 cases each , Yobe-2 while Sokoto and Niger recorded 1 case each.
At least, 16,948 people have fully recovered and discharged, while 856 fatalities have been recorded.
