COVID-19: NIGERIA’S TOLL HITS 41,804

Nigeria records 624 new cases of Covid-19 infections on Tuesday 28 July, 2020

In an official tweet by the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), the commission says Lagos has 212 new cases , followed by Oyo-69, Niger-49, Kano-37, Osun-37, FCT-35, Plateau-34, Gombe-33, Edo-28.

Other states with new infections are: Enugu-28, Ebonyi-17, Delta-10, Katsina-9, Ogun-8, Rivers-7, Ondo-5, Kaduna-4, Nasarawa-2.

COVID-19 mortality rate in Nigeria has now risen to 868, confirmed cases 41,804, while 18,764 people have been discharged.
