The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control NCDC has confirmed 386 new cases of the covid-19 in Nigeria.
The figure, announced by the agency on 1st August, 2020 brings the total number of infections in the country to 43,537.
The FCT recorded the highest number of confirmed cases with 130 new infections, Lagos-65, Ondo-37, Osun -29, Plateau-23, Rivers-15, Enugu-14, Nasarawa-12, Bayelsa and Ebonyi recorded 11 cases each, Ekiti-9, Oyo and Edo 8 cases each.
Other confirmed cases include Abia -6, Ogun-3 and Katsina-3, Imo and Adamawa 1 case each.
