The Nigeria Centre For Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 304 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infected persons in the country to 43,841.
The health agency revealed this on Sunday, August 2, via its official Twitter page.
It was reported that Lagos recorded the highest number with 81 new Cases.
Other affected states are FCT-39, Abia-31, Kaduna-24, Rivers-23 ,Plateau-16 ,Cross River-13, Ebonyi-12 ,Ondo-12, Ekiti-11 ,Edo-11, Benue-10, Nasarawa-10 ,Ogun-6 ,Gombe-5.
As it stands, 20,308 patients have recovered and 888 deaths recorded from Covid-19.
