The federal government on Thursday approved the extension of the phase two eased lockdown by thirty days.
The approval was disclosed by the Chairman, Presidential Task Force of COVID-19, Mr Boss Mustapha at a press briefing in Abuja.
He noted that the current nationwide curfew from 10pm – 6am will be maintained.
Mustapha said the extension was initiated after PTF recommendations to President Muhammadu Buhari on August 5th.
The extension is the third for the second phase of lockdown currently being undergone.
