Members of the independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria, IPMAN have been directed to sell petrol also known as Premium Moto Spirit, PMS at N150 per litre in Kano state.
The chairman of the group, Bashir Dan mallam gave this directive on Wednesday.
In a statement, he disclosed that the Petroleum Products Marketing Company (PPMC) announced the new price modulation.
“I have accordingly, instructed our members in Kano to comply, by selling the product at N150 per litre,” he said.
The chairman added that the directive is in compliance with the government’s earlier statement that it would review any variation in price on a monthly basis, while correlating the price with that of the international market.
