COVID-19: NIGERIA’S CASES SURPASS 44,890

Three hundred and fifty four cases of COVID-19 infections were confirmed on Thursday, August 6, 2020 by the Nigeria Centre For Disease Control (NCDC).
The Agency reports that FCT has 78 cases, Lagos-76, Kaduna-23, Ebonyi-19, Oyo-18, Nasarawa-17, Rivers-17, Delta-16 and Kwara-15.
Other states with new infections are: Akwa Ibom-13, Edo-12, Ogun-12, Plateau-11, Kano-9, Bauchi, Borno and Ekiti 6 cases each.
So far, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nigeria is now 45,244 with 32,430 recoveries and 930 fatalities.
