Four hundred and forty three new cases of covid-19 have been recorded in the country.
The Nigeria Centre For Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed this via its official twitter page on Friday August 7.
The agency said 103 cases were recorded in Plateau state, Lagos -70 , FCT-60, Ondo-35, Edo- 27 , Rivers – 27 , Kaduna -20 , Osun -19 while Borno and Oyo recorded 18 cases each.
Other states with fresh cases include Kwara-11, Adamawa- 9 , Nasarawa -7 , Gombe -6 , Bayelsa -4 , Bauchi -2, Ogun -2 and Kano-1 .
The number of Covid-19 confirmed cases in Nigeria now stands at 45, 687 with 32,637 persons discharged and 936 deaths.
