The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission has confirmed the arrival of 300 Nigerians from the U.K via an Air Europa Flight.
They arrived in Abuja on Sunday after the commission confirmed via its twitter handle.
“They arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja on Sunday and will proceed on a 14-day self-isolation as mandated by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control and the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19,”
The commission says another batch of 311 Nigerians were also evacuated from the United Arab Emirates on Saturday.
The Covid-19 pandemic has disrupted the travelling activities of many Nigerians as such making them stranded abroad due to the travel interruption.
