The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control NCDC has confirmed 325 new cases of the covid-19 in Nigera.
The figure, announced by the agency on August 15, brings the total number of infections in the country to 48,770.
Lagos state recorded the highest number of confirmed case with 87 new infections, FCT-49, Gombe-28, Ebonyi- 20,Plateau-19, Kwara-18, Enugu-17, Imo-12, Rivers-12, Kaduna-11 and Ogun- 10.
Other states with fresh cases are: Edo-9, Oyo-9, Ondo and Osun 8 cases each, Ekiti-4 Borno, Kano, Bauchi and Nassarawa 1 case each.
