The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control NCDC has confirmed 160 fresh cases of covid-19 in the country.
The figure, announced by the agency on August 28, through its official twitter handle brings the total number of infections in the country to 53,477.
Plateau recorded 44 cases, Lagos- 27, Katsina- 18, FCT-14, Ondo-10, Oyo-9,Kwara-6 and Abia-4.
Other states include Nasarawa-4, Kano-3, Ekiti-2, Kaduna,-2, Kebbi -1 and Ogun-1.
This record brings the total number of confirmed covid-19 cases in the country to 53,477 with 41,017 persons discharged and 1,011 cases of death.
