Nigeria’s COVID-19 cases surpassed 53,800 on Sunday, August 30 as Plateau state recorded 55 infections.
According to the NCDC, 138 new cases of Coronavirus were recorded in the country.
Other other affected states are Lagos-15,Ebonyi-11 ,Oyo-11 ,Abia-8 ,Anambra-7, FCT-7, Rivers-7 ,Kaduna-6 ,Ondo-5, Kwara-3, Bauchi-1 ,Benue-1 and Edo-1.
There are 53,865 confirmed cases in total, 41,513 of them have fully recovered with 1,013 deaths recorded.
