The Nigeria Centre For Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 100 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the number of confirmed infected persons in the country to 55,005.
The health agency disclosed this on Sunday, September 6, via its official Twitter page as Lagos state recorded 39 fresh cases.
Other affected states are FCT-22 ,Kaduna-19, Oyo-7 ,Ebonyi-6 ,Edo-3 ,Katsina-1 ,Ekiti-1, Bauchi-1 and Nasarawa-1.
Presently, 43,013 patients have recovered and 1,057 deaths recorded from Covid-19.
