Nigeria’s COVID-19 cases surpassed 55,100 on Monday, September 7 as Lagos state recorded 42 infections.
According to the NCDC, 155 new cases of Coronavirus were recorded in the country.
Other affected states are Plateau-25, Rivers-16, Ebonyi-10 ,Abia-9 ,Ogun-9, FCT-9, Osun-7, Katsina-6, Kaduna-6, Ekiti-4 ,Taraba-4 ,Edo-3 ,Anambra-2 ,Akwa Ibom-2 and Kano-1.
There are 55,160 confirmed cases in total, 43,231 of them have fully recovered with 1,061 deaths recorded.
