The Nigeria Centre For Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 176 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the number of confirmed infected persons in the country to 55,632.
The agency published the report on September 9 via its official Twitter page as FCT recorded 40 fresh cases, Lagos – 34, Plateau – 26, Enugu – 14, Delta – 12 and Ogun – 12.
Other affected states are Ondo – 9, Oyo – 8, Ekiti – 6, Ebonyi – 4, Adamawa – 2, Nasarawa – 2, Kwara – 2, Rivers – 2, Edo – 1, Osun – 1 and Bauchi – 1.
Presently, the total number of COVID-19 confirmed cases in the country has risen to 55,632 with 43,610 recoveries and 1,070 deaths.
