The Nigeria Centre For Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 79 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the number of confirmed infected persons in the country to 56,256.
The health agency disclosed this on Sunday, September 13, via its official Twitter page as Lagos state recorded 30 fresh cases.
Other affected states are Kaduna-17, Ogun-7, Anambra-,5 Kano-4, Katsina-3 FCT-3 ,Akwa Ibom-3, Oyo-2 Rivers-2 ,Delta-1, Plateau-1 and Ondo-1.
Presently, 44,152 patients have recovered and 1,082 deaths recorded from Covid-19.
