The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control NCDC has confirmed 131 fresh cases of covid-19 in the country.
The figure, announced by the agency on September 17 brings the total number of infections in the country to 56,735.
Lagos recorded 45 new cases , Kaduna -17, Plateau -17, FCT – 16, Delta -6, Niger-6, Kwara – 5, Oyo – 3, Akwa Ibom – 2, Cross River – 2, Ekiti – 2, Osun – 2, Sokoto – 2, Bauchi – 1, Ebonyi – 1, Katsina – 1 and Rivers – 1. This record brings the total number of confirmed covid-19 cases in the country to 56, 735 with 48,092 persons discharged and 1, 093 cases of death.
