The Nigeria Centre For Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 97 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the number of confirmed infected persons in the country to 57,242.
The health agency disclosed this on Sunday, September 20, via its official Twitter page as Lagos state recorded 46 fresh cases.
Other affected states are Kwara-12, Rivers-11, Adamawa-4 ,Niger-4 ,Ogun-4, Osun-4, Ekiti-3 ,Imo-3, Kaduna-3, Plateau-2 and FCT-1.
Presently, 48,569 patients have recovered and 1,098 deaths recorded from Covid-19.
