Nigeria’s tally of confirmed COVID-19 cases rose to 58,647 as 187 new infections were announced by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on its Twitter handle.
The affected states are Lagos-74, Plateau-25, Rivers-25 ,Gombe-19 ,FCT-19 ,Osun-10 ,Kaduna-5, Borno-3 ,Ogun-2, Katsina-2, Nasarawa-1 ,Bayelsa-1 and Edo-1.
As at Tuesday, September 29, 49,937 persons have fully recovered while 1,111 have died from the disease.
