Nigeria recorded 103 new cases of covid-19 on October 8 bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 59,841
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC confirmed the figure via its twitter page.
According to the report, Lagos had 39 new cases, Rivers -21, FCT- 19, Oyo- 6, Kaduna- 4, Bauchi-3, Ogun-3, Imo-2, Kano-2 , Benue -1, Edo- 1, Nasarawa-1 and Plateau-1.
The total number of Covid-19 recoveries in the country now stands at 51,551 with 1,113 cases of death.
