The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC reported 138 new cases of covid-19 on Thursday 22nd October bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 61,805.
According to the agency, new cases were recorded in 13 states of the federation.
Katsina recorded the highest number with 44 new cases, Lagos – 35, Kwara – 15, Kaduna – 13, Plateau – 7,Imo- 6, Adamawa-5, River – 4, Yobe-3,Ogun – 2, Oyo-2,Osun-1 and FCT – 1.
The number of covid-19 discharged cases in the country now stands at 59, 985 with 1,127 fatalities.
