The Lagos State government has authorised both private and public schools in the state to open from Monday, November 2.
The state Commissioner for Education, Folasade Adefisayo, disclosed this in a statement released on Thursday October 29.
However, borders in public schools are to resume on Sunday, November 1.
According to her, year 2020 has been an unprecedented year with happenings that have regrettably led to frequent closure of schools with attendant learning disruptions faced by all children.
She assured that the State Government will continue to regard the safety of pupils/students, parents and all staff as top priority.
