The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has confirmed 162 new cases of COVID-19 infections in the country bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 62, 853.
The report announced by the agency on Saturday October 31 shows that new cases were recorded in 14 states.
Gombe recorded 54 cases, FCT – 35, Lagos – 26, Ogun – 12, Plateau – 10, Rivers – 10, Kaduna-4, Ekiti – 3, Edo – 2, Osun-2 while Bayelsa , Imo, Ondo and Oyo recorded 1 case each.
The number of covid-19 discharged cases in the country is now 58, 675 with 1,144 fatalities.
