The panelists present during the ruling were Segun Awosanya (Popularly known as Segalink), Oluwatoyin Odusanya (Director, Citizens right), DIG Taiwo Lakanu ( representing the police) and Lucas Koyejo (from the National Human Rights Commission).

Right after the verdict , absent members on the panel marched in and tendered an opposing ruling.

The opposers are: Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) Mr Ebun-Olu Adegboruwa, representing the Civil Society, Ms. Patience Udoh representing the Civil Society, Rinu Oduala and Temitope Majekodunmi, representing EndSARS protesters.

The opposers intended to read their ruling but were cut short by LCC counsel, Rotimi Seriki and Lagos State lawyer , Mr Enitan Thomas following which there was an uproar .
