The Lagos state government has taken delivery of the Oxford – Astra Zeneca COVID-19 vaccines sent by the federal government .The governor of Lagos state , Babajide Sanwo- Olu made this known on Tuesday during an event organised by the ministry of women Affairs and poverty Alleviation to mark 2021 international women’s day. He noted that the state government received the vaccines at about 4 am on Tuesday and promised that the vaccination exercise will soon commence in the state.The governor said the exercise would be carried out in line with the scheduled guidelines laid down by the National Primary Health Care Development Agency and appealed to Lagos residents to continue to adhere to covid-19 preventive guidelines.
