The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control , NCDC has announced 96 new cases of covid- 19 in the country bringing the total number of infections in the country to 162,178.
The agency disclosed this during its recent Coronavirus update published on its official twitter page on Wednesday, March 24.
According to the NCDC, new cases were recorded from 15 states.
Lagos recorded 28 new cases, Yobe- 20, Akwa- Ibom- 10, Cross River- 9, Kaduna-6, Kano- 5, Edo-4, Oyo-3, Plateau- 3, Jigawa-2, Osun- 2 Borno- 1, Nasarawa-1, Rivers- 1 and Sokoto-1.
Total number of Covid-19 recoveries is now 148,726 with 2,031 cases of death.
