The Nigeria Centre For Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 48 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of confirmed infected persons in the country to 166, 146.
The health agency disclosed this on Wednesday May 26, via its official Twitter page as Lagos recorded 22 fresh cases.
Other affected states are Rivers- 11, Enugu-11, Kaduna-2, FCT- 1 and Gombe- 1.
Presently, 156,529 Covid-19 patients have recovered and 2,071 deaths, recorded.
