Trailer rams into BRT terminal, Oshodi.

Scores escaped death in one of the BRT terminals in Oshodi as a result of brake failure of a trailer.

The sad event happened on Sunday. The long vehicle has the registration number KTU 437 XU.

The Director of Operations, Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) made a distress call to the Director-General, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA, Dr. Femi Oke-Osanyintolu for swift and possible ways of averting the anomaly.

In no time, an emergency team of Lasema swung into action activating a response plan, while moving to the scene of the accident.


“No casualties was recorded. The Agency team and LASTMA are join responders making efforts to evacuate the impediment off the road. Operations ongoing,” he said.
