The Federal Government has arrested the head of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu.
The Minister of Justice , Mr. Abubakar Malami (SAN) disclosed this at a press briefing in Abuja on Tuesday, adding that Kanu was arrested on Sunday.
He said that security agencies in Nigeria collaborated with the Interpol to arrest the secessionist.
According to Malami, the IPOB leader would be brought before the Federal High Court in Abuja for the continuation of his trial on charges bordering on terrorism, treasonable felony, unlawful possession of firearms and management of an unlawful society.
