BANDITS ATTACK THE CONVOY OF KANO STATE GOVERNOR

The convoy of the Kano State Governor Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje has been attacked by bandits on their way back from Zamfara state.


Security operatives guarding the Governor exchanged bullets with the armed bandits.

Ganduje had graced the occasion welcoming Governor Bello Matawale into the All Progressives Congress (APC) from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).



Ganduje who was expected to be in his convoy joined the Jigawa State Governor, Muhammadu Abubakar Badaru, back to Kano


A source who pleaded anonymity said Ganduje couldn’t go back in convoy due to insufficient fuel, he however ordered that his escorts should proceed with sorting their logistics before he joined the Jigawa state governor.


While on the trip back to Kano, heavily armed men from nowhere attacked the convoy. Thanks to security operatives as they were able to repel the attack.
