The chairman, House Committee on Finance and Appropriation in Zamfara State house of Assembly, Mohammed Ahmed is dead.
Ahmed was killed by suspected bandits in Katsina along the Sheme-Funtua Road.
According to the Clerk of the Zamfara House House of Assembly, Saidu Anka, Ahmed was traveling to his town when he was killed by the bandits.
Funeral rites are scheduled holds at Sheikh Ahmed Umar Kanoma Mosque today.
