The authorities of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) says Chindinma Ojukwa is a student of the varsity despite her involvement in the killing of Usifo Ataga, Super TV CEO
Ahead of the varsity’s 51st convocation, the vice-chancellor, Oluwatoyin Ogundipe released a press statement on the matter.
He noted that according to the school records, the self alleged killer is a 21 years student who is part of the institution
“From our records which are available to us, Chidinma Adaora Ojukwu is a student of the University of Lagos who was born on December 12, 1999,” he said.
“From our records, she is from Abia State. From our records, her next of kin is Mr Onoh Ojukwu. She is a student of this great university whether she is a part-time or full-time student.
“We cannot deny the fact that she is a student of the university.”
After the news first broke out on the 24th of June, this is the first time Unilag is saying anything concerning the murder case of Chindinma was paraded over the death of the business morgue.
“She had earlier confessed to stabbing Ataga “twice on the neck side.”
Chidinma, a 300-level Mass Communication student, had also alleged that the businessman had forcefully had sex with her the first time but a dispute ensued after he attempted it again.
