A boarding school in Maramara Chickun Local Government Area of Kaduna state , Bethel Secondary School has been invaded by bandits who kidnapped a number of students.
The incident occurred in the early hours of Monday.
The school guard who witnessed the incident, Daniel Muhuta , said he escaped narrowly. He explained that they came around 1.00am and started shooting. ” I was at the back of the school dormitory when I heard shooting and decided to pin down”, said he.
Security agents have since been deployed to the school while affected parents and guardians have also converged on the school premises.
