IPOB SACKS SIMON EKPA AS RADIO BIAFRA BROADCASTER

Simon Ekpa who at a point was a lead broadcaster on Radio Biafra has been sacked by The Indigenous People of Biafra shortly after the rearrest of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of IPOB.

This is coming in after Ekpa refused to sign the contract binding the code of conducts guiding those broadcasting on Radio Biafra, as disclosed via a statement by the IPOB spokesperson, Emma Powerful.

The statement read, “The global family of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) ably led by our great leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has observed with regrets, that Mazi Simon Ekpa whom our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu gave an appointment and duty to start broadcasting on Radio Biafra doesn’t want to follow the laid down rules of operation in Radio Biafra.

“Our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu gave the directive while in detention but Mazi Simon Ekpa has refused to follow the principles.

The spokesperson of IPOB commended Ekpa’s contribution in Advancing the course of Biafra nation. However, he noted that no one is above the law, noting that the laid down rules guarding whoever is to broadcast on biafra radio channel must be followed.

Ekpa was encouraged to use other social media networks to broadcast its activities and not that of Biafra channel.
